IN A SESSION

All sessions are individually based on your specific interests and goals. Anna will work with you on analyzing your movement patterns while helping you improve your awareness and coordination through verbal instruction and hands-on guidance.

Since the AT process is achieved through your thinking in movement, it is a tool that will last as long as you use it!

WHAT

THE TECHNIQUE

TEACHES HOW TO:

  • Improve awareness

  • Increase speed and accuracy

  • Prevent injury and pain

  • Gain the most from all exercises, stretches and movements

  • Ensure you are actually doing what you think you are doing

BENEFITS

  • Improve flexibility

  • Better breath control

  • Enhance strength and power

  • Increase endurance

  • Greater balance

  • More energy

Alexander has done a service to the subject by insistently treating each act as involving the whole integrated individual, the whole psycho-physical man. To take a step is an affair not of this or that limb solely, but of the total neuromuscular activity of the moment - not the least of the head and neck.

Sir Charles Sherrington, Nobel Prize winner in medicine
